Role Overview

Samarya Creations is looking for a high-impact Content Head, Executive Producer & Revenue (Brand Integrations) who thrives in a startup environmentsomeone who can build content systems from scratch, scale creative output, and drive monetization through brand integrations and partnerships.

This role blends creative leadership, hands-on production, and revenue ownership, making it ideal for a leader who has helped grow content or media brands in early-stage or high-growth startups, while actively contributing to business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

1. Content Strategy & Creative Leadership

  • Own the end-to-end content strategy with a startup mindsetprioritizing speed, experimentation, and scalability
  • Conceptualize and launch original IPs across podcasts, digital series, short-form content, branded content, and emerging formats
  • Establish content frameworks, workflows, and creative guidelines from the ground up
  • Identify trends early and rapidly test, iterate, and scale successful formats

2. Production & Execution (Startup-Scale)

  • Function as Executive Producer across all key projects, remaining hands-on when required
  • Build lean, cost-efficient production models optimized for fast turnaround
  • Oversee budgeting, scheduling, vendor management, and resource allocation
  • Deliver high-quality content despite evolving structures, budgets, and timelines

3. Revenue, Brand Integrations & Sales Collaboration

  • Own and drive content-led revenue streams, including brand integrations, sponsorships, and partnerships
  • Collaborate closely with sales and business development teams to pitch, structure, and close brand deals
  • Translate brand and revenue objectives into authentic, audience-first storytelling formats
  • Create scalable branded content frameworks that balance commercial goals with creative integrity
  • Support long-term monetization through IP licensing, platform deals, and content syndication

4. Team Building & Leadership

  • Hire, mentor, and scale a lean, multi-skilled creative and production team
  • Work closely with founders and leadership to align content, revenue, and growth objectives
  • Foster a culture of ownership, accountability, and creative problem-solving

5. Editorial Control & Quality Assurance

  • Act as the final authority on content quality, narrative direction, and brand voice
  • Balance creative ambition with commercial realities and platform constraints
  • Ensure compliance with legal, ethical, and platform guidelines

Required Qualifications

  • 812+ years of experience in content, media, production, or digital entertainment
  • Mandatory startup or early-stage media experience, preferably having built content and revenue pipelines from scratch
  • Proven ability to drive monetization through content, brand partnerships, or integrations
  • Demonstrated capability to wear multiple hats in fast-changing, ambiguous environments
  • Strong understanding of digital platforms, audience analytics, and growth strategies
  • Experience managing budgets, timelines, partnerships, and cross-functional stakeholders
