Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven
Head of Placement to lead our placement initiatives, drive corporate partnerships, and ensure successful student employability. The ideal candidate should have
strong corporate connections, a
proven track record in student placements.
Key Responsibilities
- Placement & Corporate Relations
Develop and execute a
comprehensive placement strategy to ensure high placement rates for students.
Build and maintain
strong relationships with corporate partners, HR leaders, and hiring managers to drive recruitment opportunities.
Negotiate and secure recruitment tie-ups with top companies
Establish strategic partnerships and expand corporate outreach by securing
hiring agreements (MoUs) with top organizations.
Enhance trainees employability.
Develop and strengthen alumni engagement through networking initiatives, mentorship programs, and career opportunities.
Collaborate with the technical team to align the curriculum with industry demands and evolving job market trends.
Lead and oversee CDC operations, ensuring team productivity and the achievement of placement goals.
Implement and optimize the CDC tool to streamline placement processes and enhance operational efficiency.
- Industry Networking & Market Intelligence
Stay updated with
industry trends, hiring patterns, and emerging job roles to align placement efforts.
Represent the institution at
career fairs, networking events, and corporate summits to strengthen industry connections.
Develop employer satisfaction reports and gather
feedback to enhance placement strategies.
- Placement Data & Reporting
Maintain and track
placement metrics, employer feedback, and student success stories.
Prepare
placement reports and presentations for senior management.
Ensure compliance with
placement targets and performance benchmarks.
Key Requirements
Minimum 10+ years of experience in placements and corporate relations, preferably in the
EdTech or Education industry.
Strong industry network with corporate leaders, HR professionals, and hiring managers.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
Proven track record of
driving high placement rates and securing corporate partnerships.
Experience in organizing
career fairs, industry connect programs, and employer engagement activities.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and align placement strategies with business goals.
Preferred Qualifications
MBA/PGDM in HR, Marketing, or related fields.
Experience in
EdTech, Higher Education, or Corporate Training industry.
