Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Strategic Business Management & Growth

  • Identify and secure new enterprise clients across the Pharma ecosystem including manufacturers, CROs, distributors, hospitals, and laboratories
  • Design and sell specialized pharma logistics solutions with focus on cold chain management, temperature-controlled shipments, and regulatory compliance
  • Lead solution selling for clinical trial logistics, biological samples, and life-saving drug movements
  • Manage major accounts as Key Account Manager and scale high-potential accounts as Growth Account Manager across Pan-India
  • Own the complete RFQ and tendering lifecycle including proposal creation, SLA negotiations, and contract closure

Operational & Internal Coordination

  • Coordinate with RSMs, ZSMs, TSMs, and Direct Party teams to ensure adherence to SOPs, GDP guidelines, and cold chain protocols
  • Work closely with Operations and Quality teams to build auditable, compliant supply chain processes
  • Ensure execution excellence through validation reports, track-and-trace systems, and quality documentation
  • Maintain strong relationships with client-side Procurement, Supply Chain, and Quality stakeholders

Industry Expertise & Team Leadership

  • Act as the internal and external subject matter expert for Pharma and Healthcare logistics
  • Provide consultative support to clients by designing value-added, compliant logistics solutions
  • Apply analytical insights on freight lanes, cost structures, and regulatory changes to optimize offerings
  • Train and coach sales and business development teams on GDP, cold chain handling, temperature excursions, and pharma-specific selling techniques
