Head of Business Development GCC

Key Responsibilities

* Develop and execute the strategic roadmap for the India GCC in alignment with global business objectives.

* Provide overall leadership for India operations, including business performance, workforce planning, delivery, governance and operating budgets.

* Partner with global business leaders to identify opportunities to expand the scope, capabilities and value delivered by the India GCC.

* Drive operational excellence, productivity, process optimisation and continuous improvement.

* Build and execute the India talent strategy, including leadership hiring, succession planning, capability development and workforce scaling.

* Establish a high-performance culture with strong focus on employee engagement, retention and leadership development.

* Own senior stakeholder relationships across global functions and business units.

* Drive transformation, automation, digitalisation and adoption of emerging technologies where relevant.

* Ensure effective governance, risk management, compliance and business continuity.

* Oversee financial and operational performance against agreed targets.

* Identify opportunities for cost optimisation while maintaining quality and business outcomes.

* Represent the India GCC with key internal and external stakeholders.

* Build a strong leadership team and develop the next level of India leadership.

Candidate Profile

* 15+ years of relevant experience with significant leadership responsibility.

* Experience leading a GCC, captive centre, shared services organisation or large-scale India business operation.

* Strong understanding of global operating models and India GCC dynamics.

* Demonstrated experience in scaling teams/business operations.

* Strong commercial, financial and strategic acumen.

* Excellent stakeholder management and executive communication skills.

* Experience managing senior global stakeholders and cross-functional teams.

* Strong people leadership and organisational development capabilities.
