About the Role

To lead the business development function by driving strategic growth across corporate events, MICE, and medical projects. The role is pivotal in achieving Bigbee's revenue target goal by acquiring new clients, nurturing partnerships, expanding into new markets, and building a high-performing BD team.

Responsibilities

Strategic Planning & Revenue Growth:

  • Formulate and implement annual business development strategies aligned with company goals.
  • Forecast revenue targets and ensure achievement of quarterly and annual sales numbers.

Client Acquisition & Market Expansion:

  • Identify and convert potential clients in corporate, government, and institutional sectors.
  • Drive expansion into targeted new cities/regions such as Delhi, Hyderabad, Pune, and UAE.

Relationship Building:

  • Build and maintain relationships with CXOs, decision-makers, and key stakeholders.
  • Represent Bigbee at industry forums, networking platforms, and business meets.

Proposal Management & Deal Closure:

  • Oversee preparation of customized proposals, pitch presentations, and contracts.
  • Lead commercial negotiations ensuring profitability and long-term engagement.

Team Leadership:

  • Build and manage a team of Business Development Managers/Executives.
  • Set KPIs, provide mentoring, and ensure consistent team performance.

Collaboration with Internal Teams:

  • Work closely with Creative, Operations, and Strategy teams to align client delivery with expectations.
  • Share market feedback to refine service offerings and marketing communication.

Reporting & Funnel Management:

  • Maintain accurate CRM records, track pipeline metrics, and prepare performance dashboards.
  • Present business development reports to leadership periodically.

Please note :- Should have experience in either corporate event management, experiential agency, advertising agency or media agency
