Head of Business Development – AEC Sector

Mustard is partnering with a leading international architecture and design practice to deliver pivotal projects across the region. This dynamic collaboration offers a high-impact opportunity to assume a key role in shaping the future of a rapidly expanding market.

The Role:

As the Strategic Lead, you will spearhead growth initiatives by identifying high-value project opportunities and forging strategic relationships across the architecture, engineering, and construction (AEC) landscape. You will cultivate a robust network, uncover new commercial ventures, and position the firm as the partner of choice for leading developers and real estate organizations.

Core Objectives

Market Expansion: Drive market penetration by evaluating high-value project leads, analyzing industry trends, and tracking regional procurement channels.
Relationship Development: Establish and strengthen long-term professional connections with key stakeholders, ranging from senior executives to project consultants.
Strategic Representation: Act as the company's primary ambassador at sector events, trade shows, and high-level client meetings.
Proposal Leadership: Oversee the end-to-end development of compelling, customized submissions, pitches, and client presentations.

Required Experience & Skills

Experience: Minimum of 8 to 10 years of dedicated business development experience, with direct expertise serving the AEC industry.
Track Record: Proven success in securing major projects by managing complex tenders, bids, and proposals within the region, ideally within Southeast Asia
Industry Knowledge: In-depth understanding of real estate and infrastructure project cycles, including both public and private procurement processes in Southeast Asia.
Mindset & Skills: Proactive, entrepreneurial mindset paired with exceptional organizational capabilities to balance multiple strategic priorities.
