Role Description

The Head of Boarding is a full-time, on-site leadership role based in Hyderabad, India. The role entails managing the day-to-day operations of the boarding facility, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment for students. Responsibilities include supervising staff, creating and enforcing policies, overseeing student welfare, resolving conflicts, and engaging with parents as needed. The ideal candidate will also lead initiatives to enhance the boarding experience, promote well-being, and foster an inclusive community among students and staff.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership skills, including team management and strategic planning
• Strong interpersonal skills for effective communication with students, parents, and staff
• Experience in residential or boarding school management
• Ability to implement and oversee student support programs
• Knowledge of child welfare, behavior management, and safety protocols
• Advanced problem-solving abilities and decision-making skills
• Flexibility and adaptability to address the diverse needs of students
• Minimum bachelor's degree in Education, Management, or a related field
• Experience in international schools and exposure to multi-cultural environments is an advantage
