Job Description

Department: Streetwear

Working Hours & Time: 11 AM - 8 PM // Mon - Sat

Location: New Delhi

Experience: 10 - 12 years

About the Role:

By 2028, Indian streetwear is global news. Homegrown brands are scaling fast, marketplace volumes are exploding — and this role sits right at the center of that growth.

We're building one of India's most vibrant streetwear marketplaces, and we're looking for a Head of Apparel Division to design and drive the commerce engine behind it.

This is a hands-on, ownership-heavy role where strategy meets execution. You'll turn brand hype into real revenue, build long-term partnerships, and create systems that scale across online, offline, and collaborations.

Key Responsibility Areas:

  • Own category strategy, assortment planning, and product lifecycle across the assigned category.
  • Drive category growth, sourcing, buying, and merchandising in line with business and revenue objectives.
  • Identify market trends, consumer preferences, and assortment opportunities within streetwear and fashion.
  • Manage brand/vendor relationships, negotiations, commercials, margins, and inventory.
  • Good to have: experience with brand onboarding and negotiations in a marketplace environment, including commercial terms, assortment, pricing, and platform requirements.
  • Track sales, margins, sell-through, inventory, and category performance.
  • Identify assortment gaps and opportunities to onboard new brands, products, and categories.
  • Build and maintain a strong brand and supplier network to support category growth.
  • Collaborate with design, marketing, retail, and operations teams to drive category performance.
  • Working knowledge of fabrics, trims, garment construction, manufacturing, and sourcing is an added advantage.
  • Exposure to fabric sourcing, supplier coordination, sampling, quality evaluation, costing, and product approvals.
  • Ability to identify alternate fabrics and suppliers to optimize quality, cost, and timelines

Who's this role for:

  • 10 - 12 years of experience in category management, merchandising, buying, business, commercial, or growth roles
  • Experience in D2C, fashion, lifestyle, retail, marketplace, or consumer businesses
  • Proven category/P&L ownership with strong revenue, margin, and profitability understanding
  • Strong understanding of brands, consumers, pricing, inventory, and commercial strategy
  • Proven ability to build brand/vendor partnerships and negotiate commercial terms
  • Highly data-driven, with strong category, forecasting, and inventory acumen
  • Strong consumer and market instinct, with an eye for emerging trends
  • Experience in high-growth/startup environments with high ownership and low structure
  • Strong leadership and team-building capabilities
  • Able to seamlessly balance strategy with hands-on execution
  • Deep interest in streetwear, fashion, culture, and emerging consumer trends
  • Driven by impact, growth, and long-term upside
