Job Title: Head of Angular Development

Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Team Management
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing Angular development team.
- Define technical standards, coding practices, and development processes.
- Conduct performance reviews, coaching, and career development initiatives.
- Foster a collaborative, inclusive, and innovation-driven engineering culture.
Technical Leadership
- Drive the architecture and development of scalable, high-performance Angular applications.
- Establish and maintain frontend best practices, code quality standards, and development workflows.
- Lead implementation of reusable components, modules, services, and directives.
- Utilize advanced Angular capabilities, including RxJS, NgRx/Redux, Dependency Injection, and Lazy Loading.
- Stay current with emerging frontend technologies and Angular ecosystem advancements.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner closely with Product Managers, UX/UI Designers, Backend Engineers, and stakeholders.
- Collaborate effectively with teams across India, the UK, and other global locations.
- Represent frontend engineering in technical and strategic planning discussions.
Innovation & Problem Solving
- Analyse complex technical challenges and design scalable solutions.
- Evaluate and implement AI-assisted development tools to enhance productivity and code quality.
Ensure maintainability, scalability, and adherence to object-oriented design principles.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- 7+ years of professional Angular development experience.
- Significant experience in a Team Lead, Technical Lead, Engineering Manager, or similar leadership role.
- Strong expertise in Angular, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, RxJS, and state management libraries.
- Solid understanding of RESTful APIs, software architecture, and OOP principles.
- Demonstrated success in leading engineering teams and delivering complex projects.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience collaborating with geographically distributed teams.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with AI-powered development tools such as GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, ChatGPT, or similar platforms.
- Experience scaling engineering teams in a fast-growing technology environment.
