About The Role
As the Head of Accounts, you will be responsible for overseeing the complete accounting and financial management function of the company. You will play a critical role in ensuring financial accuracy, statutory compliance, internal controls, budgeting, cash flow planning, and financial reporting while supporting business growth and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end accounting operations and financial reporting
- Finalize monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
- Ensure compliance with GST, TDS, Income Tax, ROC, and other statutory regulations
- Manage internal and statutory audits and coordinate with auditors
- Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow planning
- Monitor banking operations, fund management, and financial controls
- Handle accounts payable, receivable, payroll, and reconciliations
- Manage export-import accounting, LC documentation, and banking procedures
- Develop and improve accounting policies, SOPs, and internal control systems
- Provide financial insights and MIS reports for management decision-making
- Lead, mentor, and develop the accounts team
Preferred Candidate Profile
- ACCA, CA / CMA / MBA (Finance) preferred
- 8–15 years of experience in Accounts & Finance with minimum 3–5 years of team handling or leadership experience
- Prior exposure to manufacturing or textile industry preferred
- Strong understanding of Financial reporting, Taxation & statutory compliance, Budgeting & forecasting, Audit management, Working capital & cash flow management
- Experience working on ERP/accounting software such as SAP, Tally, or similar systems Strong analytical, leadership, and problem-solving abilities
