Role Overview
GIBS Business School is seeking a dynamic and experienced professional for the role of
Head – International Relations to drive the institution's global engagement and internationalization initiatives.
The role involves developing strategic partnerships with international universities and institutions, enhancing global exposure for students and faculty, and strengthening GIBS's international academic presence through collaborations, exchange programs, immersion tours, and research initiatives.
The position will work closely with the Dean and leadership team in achieving the institution's long-term internationalization goals aligned with global education standards and experiential learning initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement internationalization strategies to strengthen GIBS's global outreach and academic collaborations
- Build and manage partnerships, MoUs, and collaborations with international universities, institutions, and industry bodies
- Lead the Office of International Affairs and oversee international programs, student mobility, and exchange initiatives
- Coordinate international internships, faculty exchanges, study tours, immersion programs, and global certification initiatives
- Explore and facilitate research collaborations, joint academic projects, and global learning opportunities
- Organize international conferences, workshops, seminars, guest lectures, and delegate visits
- Represent GIBS at international forums, educational fairs, university meets, and global networking events
- Support international student recruitment, onboarding, orientation, and integration initiatives
- Collaborate with placement, marketing, and academic teams to enhance GIBS's international branding and visibility
- Monitor global education trends, accreditation standards, and international higher education policies
- Prepare reports, partnership proposals, presentations, and documentation related to international collaborations
- Coordinate international immersion tours and short-term global exposure programs to destinations such as Singapore, Malaysia, Dubai, and other countries
- Facilitate funding opportunities, grants, and sponsorships for international academic and research initiatives
- Maintain relationships with international alumni, partner institutions, and global stakeholders

Qualifications
Essential
- Master's Degree / PhD in International Relations, Business Administration, Management, Education, or related field
- Minimum 5–10 years of experience in international relations, academic partnerships, global programs, or higher education administration and preferable in B School
- Strong understanding of international education systems, collaborations, and academic partnerships
- Excellent communication, networking, and stakeholder management skills
Desirable
- Experience working in Business Schools, Universities, or International Education Organizations
- Exposure to global accreditation systems and international student engagement
- Experience in handling international admissions, exchange programs, and institutional collaborations
