About the Role:

We are building an intelligent, signal-driven demand generation engine where buyer intent triggers action, AI handles orchestration, and humans focus on strategy and judgment.

We are looking for a Head of Marketing Technology, Automation and AI to lead the function powering Whatfix's GTM engine across Marketing Automation, MarTech Architecture, Data & Signals, ABM, and AI orchestration.

This is a builder's role with a leader's scope. You will own the vision and roadmap while staying hands-on across automation, lead routing, data, integrations and AI workflows. You will build and lead the team, own the Demand Gen MarTech stack and its ROI, and be accountable for the reliability and quality of the engine. The role reports to the Head of Global Demand Generation.

What You Will Own:

• Marketing Automation & Lifecycle: Own automation architecture, campaigns, nurture, lead scoring, routing, lifecycle management and data quality.
• MarTech Stack — Strategy, Architecture & ROI: Own the MarTech roadmap, tool evaluation, integrations, consolidation, vendor management, adoption and ROI.
• AI & Agentic Workflows: Build AI orchestration, LLM workflows, personalization, signal interpretation and agentic GTM automation that drive pipeline outcomes.
• Account-Based Programs: Connect ABM, intent and engagement signals to BDR/seller actions, meeting generation and revenue.
• Team Leadership: Build and lead a team of marketers and builders, developing talent and driving ownership, quality and outcomes.

Qualification Criteria

Must Have:

• 10+ years in B2B SaaS marketing, with deep experience across Marketing Automation, MarTech, Marketing Operations or GTM Systems.
• Personally built and governed infrastructure across Pardot, Marketo, HubSpot or equivalent.
• Proven ownership of data hygiene, governance and MarTech stack strategy, including buy/build/consolidate decisions.
• Real AI fluency: shipped LLM-integrated workflows, AI-driven GTM automation or Marketing Agents in production—not just experimentation.
• People leadership experience, including building/developing teams.
• Strong communication and senior stakeholder management skills.

Preferred / Nice-to-Haves:

• B2B SaaS experience, with ABM and intent data.
• GTM engineering exposure: enrichment pipelines, API-driven workflows and outbound orchestration.
• Data warehouse/analytics infrastructure supporting marketing attribution.
• Experience working across global teams and time zones.

Tool Proficiency:

• Marketing Automation: Salesforce Pardot / Marketo / HubSpot
• CRM: Salesforce; HubSpot or MS Dynamics
• AI / LLM: Claude / OpenAI / Gemini; API-level fluency
• ABM & Intent: Demandbase / Factors.ai / Influ2 or equivalent
• Outbound: Clay / Outreach or equivalent
