Job Description

Ensure compliance with all applicable legal and regulatory requirements across the organisation.
Provide strategic legal advice to stakeholders to support business objectives and mitigate risks.
Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, agreements, and other legal documents.
Manage disputes, litigation, and arbitration cases in collaboration with external counsel.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
Develop and implement legal policies and procedures to streamline operations.
Act as the primary point of contact for all legal matters within the organisation.
Lead and mentor the in-house legal team to ensure high performance and professional growth.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Head Legal should have:

A degree in law from a recognised institution.
Proven expertise in corporate and commercial law, particularly within the business services industry.
Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
Experience in handling complex legal issues, including disputes and litigation.
Ability to provide clear and concise legal advice to senior stakeholders.
Excellent leadership skills with a focus on team development and performance.
