Head Legal (Litigation)- BKC

Litigation & Arbitration Management:

• Lead and manage all litigation cases, arbitration proceedings, and regulatory disputes involving the company
• Develop effective strategies to handle legal actions and ensure favorable outcomes

Legal Risk Advisory:

• Advise senior management and the board on legal risks associated with ongoing and potential disputes
• Provide actionable insights to mitigate risks and protect the company's legal position

Legal Strategy Development:

• Formulate and drive comprehensive legal strategies aligned with the company's business objectives
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external counsels to ensure coherent litigation approaches

Counsel Oversight:

• Oversee external counsels, ensuring efficient case handling, timely updates, and cost-effective management
• Evaluate legal counsel performance and recommend appropriate legal service providers

Compliance & Protection:

• Ensure strict compliance with applicable laws and regulatory requirements throughout litigation processes
• Protect the company's interests by enforcing legal rights and minimizing liabilities

Stakeholder Management:

• Liaise with regulators, courts, and other authorities as required during dispute resolution
• Communicate legal updates and implications clearly to internal stakeholders

Team Leadership:

• Lead and mentor the litigation legal team, fostering professional development and high standards of legal practice
• Drive collaboration across departments for effective case management and resolution
