- Provide legal counsel on a variety of issues, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
- Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, agreements, and other legal documents including product technology agreements.
- Oversee legal risks and provide recommendations to mitigate potential liabilities, also advise on data privacy related laws
- Liaise with external legal counsel to manage litigation and other legal proceedings.
- Stay updated on legal developments relevant to the ecommerce and tech sector
- Develop and implement internal policies and procedures to ensure legal and regulatory compliance.
- Support the leadership team with strategic legal advice to achieve organizational objectives.
A Successful Legal Lead Should Have
- A degree in law from a recognized institution with at-least ten years of experience
- Experience across tech, e-commerce platforms
- Experience with regulatory, policy and data privacy
