Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Diagnostic Testing and Procedures:

Conduct cardiological diagnostic tests such as electrocardiogram (EKG), phonocardiogram, echocardiogram, and stress tests using electronic diagnostic equipment while ensuring accuracy and safety.

Patient Care and Support:

Ensure patients are comfortable during diagnostic procedures by explaining tests, addressing questions, and guiding them through the testing process.

Test Documentation and Reporting:

Accurately record results of cardiological and laboratory tests and coordinate with physicians for analysis, interpretation, and scheduling of any necessary follow-up tests.

Physician Assistance:

Assist physicians during non-invasive cardiology procedures by monitoring patient heart rates and vital readings, and promptly reporting any abnormal results.

Laboratory Equipment Maintenance:

Maintain and monitor laboratory and cardiology equipment through routine cleaning, calibration, and adjustments to ensure proper functioning.

Inventory and Supplies Management:

Track laboratory supply inventory, maintain stock levels, and restock the laboratory storeroom as required to ensure uninterrupted operations.

Troubleshooting and Technical Support:

Identify and troubleshoot issues related to laboratory and diagnostic equipment and report any technical malfunctions to senior management for timely resolution.

Quality Control and Compliance:

Ensure laboratory processes follow quality standards, safety protocols, and healthcare regulations to maintain accurate and reliable diagnostic services.

Professional Development and Research:

Stay updated with advancements in cardiology and laboratory diagnostics by attending conferences, training programs, and participating in relevant research initiatives.
