Head - Information System Audit

Job Purpose :The candidate will be responsible for defining, driving, and overseeing the organization's overall IT internal audit strategy. You will lead a team of specialized technical auditors to evaluate our IT infrastructure, digital applications, cybersecurity postures, and emerging technology implementations. As a trusted advisor, you will collaborate closely with the C-suite (CIO, CISO, CTO) and directly report audit insights and technology risk landscapes to the Audit Committee/Board of Directors.

Desired Profile - Must be 18+ years of experience in IS Audit. Looking for Senior IS Audit / Technology Audit leaders from consulting organizations, with significant experience leading Information Systems Audit engagements and assessing technology risks, IT governance, controls, and compliance frameworks for Financial Services clients Investment Banking, Credit or Corporate Finance

Key Deliverables :

Strategic Leadership: Develop, execute, and continually update a risk-based annual IS Audit Plan that aligns with organizational goals, emerging technologies, and changing threat landscapes.

Governance & Board Reporting: Present independent, objective audit findings, risk assessments, and remediation progress reports directly to the Audit Committee, Board of Directors, and executive management.

Team Management: Lead, mentor, and build a high-performing team of IT Auditors, fostering continuous learning and supporting professional certifications (e.g., CISA, CISSP).

Advanced Risk Oversight: Oversee comprehensive audits of high-risk areas including cybersecurity operations, cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure/GCP), DevOps pipelines, business continuity/DR, data privacy, and third-party vendor risks.

Regulatory Compliance: Ensure the organization complies with all relevant national and international technological regulations and frameworks

Advisory & Collaboration: Act as an independent advisor on major technology initiatives, digital transformation projects, and system implementations to ensure robust controls are designed upfront.

Audit Modernization: Drive innovation within the audit function by implementing advanced data analytics, continuous auditing techniques, and automation tools
