Job Description

Strategic HRM. Part of NRC and invitee to the Board of Directors.

Establish strong relationships with key stakeholders to enable delivery of HR related aspects

Custodian of the HR policy. Necessary updates in the policy from time to time. Design SOPs for every HR policy.

Partner with business heads to develop strategies and implement frameworks to engage, develop and retain high potential performers work with business units to understand motivation and retention issues and develop innovative workforce strategy solutions.

Oversee performance management, appraisal and reward systems to manage delivery of remuneration process

Design the compensation strategy and play an advisory role on remuneration matters across all the Funds and the Company.

Handle all queries, grievances and escalations from employees and ensure the same are resolved within committed timelines. Identify opportunities for process improvements based on historic trends

Owning the end to end HR processes (recruitment, background verifications, retention, compensation, performance appraisals, revisions, payroll processes etc)

Oversee the organization's recruitment, interview, selection, and hiring processes

Plan employee benefit, payroll, health and safety programs

Facilitate and monitor the implementation of standardized human resource processes

Develop, implement and oversee all activities with a strong focus on building culture, enhancing teamwork and productivity improvement.

Developing HR Capabilities across organisation to ensure the next phase of growth with strong ROI metrics

Put in place compensation plans in line with the industry standards

Responsible for data management of all HR related processes including personal information compensation job history retirement and insurance documentation leave accrual records and details of illness, absences, transfers, and salary progression etc

Develop and implement suitable HR systems and processes including ERP etc to enable seamless operations and business scale up of the organisation.

In partnership with the business heads, identify and establish training programmes, learning and development initiatives for all employees in the organisation

Ensure systems and processes are in place for handling all employee related grievances including compliances with regulatory requirements such as POSH, etc

Partner with business heads to mitigate people/ legal risk to the organisation

The Successful Applicant

The candidate should ideally have a degree/ educational background in Human Resources, Business Administration or related fields and have in-depth knowledge about recruitment strategies and HR processes. Ideally, the candidate should have a background in HR in the financial services space preferably in a private equity/ asset management business and should have an overall experience of 15+ years.

Strong knowledge of compliance, applicable laws, rules, guidelines, regulations, risks from a human resources perspective will be a pre-requisite.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with executive management and across business & functional lines.
