Job Description

Key Responsibilities

Strategic HR & Workforce Effectiveness

  • Formulate and implement HR strategies aligned with business objectives.
  • Drive KRAs, goal setting, and performance management frameworks across functions.
  • Lead HR metrics, analytics, wage cost analysis, and attrition analysis for data-driven decisions.
  • Conceptualize and implement HR analytics tools and dashboards.

Training & Talent Development

  • Identify skill gaps and training needs across departments.
  • Design and implement annual training plans and talent development processes.
  • Monitor training effectiveness index and introduce continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Plan, organize, and manage training resources and operations.

Recruitment & Talent Acquisition

  • Manage end-to-end recruitment lifecycle across levels.
  • Partner with business heads to plan manpower requirements.
  • Source candidates through campus drives, social media, referrals, headhunters, and databases.
  • Oversee induction, joining formalities, background verification, and onboarding.
  • Lead salary negotiations and hiring closure.

Industrial Relations & Legal Compliance

  • Handle contract labour matters and union negotiations.
  • Represent organization in conciliation proceedings, tribunals, and labour courts.
  • Ensure compliance with standing orders and disciplinary procedures.
  • Liaison with government authorities including Labour Department, Pollution Control, Director of Factories, ESI, PF, Employment Exchange, and other statutory bodies.
  • Manage core IR issues and maintain harmonious industrial relations.

HR Operations & Administration

  • Oversee HR operations including attendance, leave, payroll coordination, and full & final settlements.
  • Maintain accuracy in organizational charts, headcount reports, and MIS documentation.
  • Review HR budgets and create monthly HR cost dashboards.
  • Implement and monitor HR policies and ensure compliance with PF, ESI, Bonus, Gratuity, and other statutory enactments.
  • Conduct HR audits and ensure statutory documentation compliance.

Employee Engagement & Welfare

  • Drive employee engagement initiatives, rewards & recognition programs, and team-building activities.
  • Manage employee grievance redressal as per policy and legal requirements.
  • Oversee welfare measures, insurance (Mediclaim, GPA), pension, loans & advances administration.

Administration & Facility Oversight

  • Supervise time office control, absenteeism management, housekeeping, transportation, and security.
  • Handle internal and external security and disaster management preparedness.
  • Ensure effective general administration and plant-level HR coordination.
