Job Description: Head – HR & Administration
Location: Patiala, Punjab
Pay: 120,000.00 - 250,000.00 per month
Work Location: In person
Role Overview:
The Head – HR & Administration will lead the organization's human resources and administrative functions, ensuring strong people practices, operational efficiency, and statutory compliance. This role requires a strategic thinker with hands-on execution ability to support organizational growth and humanitarian operations.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Human Resource Management
- Lead end-to-end recruitment, onboarding, and workforce planning
- Develop and implement HR policies, SOPs, and performance management systems
- Drive employee engagement, retention, and organizational culture initiatives
- Design and oversee learning & development programs
- Manage employee relations, grievance handling, and disciplinary processes
2. Compliance & Governance
- Ensure compliance with all labor laws, statutory regulations, and internal policies
- Maintain HR documentation, records, and audit readiness
- Liaise with legal and regulatory bodies as required
3. Administration & Operations
- Oversee administrative functions including facilities, travel, logistics, and procurement
- Manage vendor relationships, contracts, and service delivery
- Ensure smooth functioning of offices and project locations
4. Financial & Process Coordination
- Support budgeting related to HR and administrative functions
- Monitor costs and identify areas for efficiency and optimization
- Collaborate with finance for payroll inputs, vendor payments, and compliance
5. Strategic Support
- Partner with leadership for organizational planning and structure
- Strengthen internal systems, reporting, and process improvements
- Contribute to policy development aligned with organizational values

Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
- Relevant certifications (if any) will be an advantage
