The Accelerator Head will serve as the strategic leader responsible for driving the growth, sustainability and impact of Innovation Mission Punjab's accelerator platform. In addition to leading accelerator operations, the role will be responsible for mobilizing financial and strategic resources through CSR partnerships, philanthropic funding, corporate collaborations, sponsorships, government grants and ecosystem partnerships. The incumbent will build and manage relationships with senior leaders across industry, government, foundations, family offices, investors and institutions to secure long-term support for the Mission's entrepreneurship agenda.
The Roles and Responsibilities Include:
Fundraising & Resource Mobilization
- Build a financially sustainable accelerator model.
- Develop sponsored innovation programs with corporates.
- Launch sector-focused accelerator initiatives supported by strategic partners.
Partnerships:
- Build and nurture partnerships with key ecosystem stakeholders to strengthen the accelerator, support startups, and advance IMP's mission.
Preferred Experience:
- Experience in fundraising, CSR partnerships, grants, sponsorships or strategic partnerships.
- Proven ability to secure funding and build long-term relationships with corporates, foundations, government bodies, or other ecosystem stakeholders.
- Strong network across startups, investors, corporates, industry leaders, and government stakeholders would be an advantage.
- Experience building and scaling high-impact programs, initiatives, or ecosystem partnerships will be preferred.
Eligibility for the Role:
- Demonstrated ability to build and manage relationships with founders, investors, corporates, government stakeholders, academic institutions, and ecosystem partners.
- Proven track record of leading initiatives involving fundraising, resource mobilization, strategic partnerships, sponsorships, grants, or ecosystem development.
- Strong understanding of startups, innovation, emerging technologies, and venture growth.
- Exceptional communication, stakeholder management, and relationship-building skills, with the ability to engage credibly with senior leaders across government, industry, investment, and academia.
- Strategic thinker with strong execution skills, sound judgment, and the ability to operate with a high degree of ownership and independence.
