Role Overview
Our client is a fast-growing consumer brand that recently raised Series A funding from leading investors. Headquartered in Gurgaon, the company is building a consumer brand with its own manufacturing and a strong focus on quality and operations.
We are currently supporting them in hiring a Head of Finance. The role will drive financial discipline, predictability, and scalable systems, while partnering closely with founders on key strategic and operational decisions. The position is based in Gurgaon with a 5-day working week.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end finance strategy including FP&A, long-term forecasting, cost structures, and profitability models.
- Build robust MIS and reporting frameworks, including monthly, quarterly, and investor-ready dashboards.
- Own accounting, controllership, audits, compliance, and internal financial controls.
- Manage cash flow, working capital cycles, budgeting, and cost discipline across the organization.
- Support fundraising initiatives across debt and equity, including financial models, dataroom preparation, and investor interactions.
- Build and lead a high-performance finance team while working cross-functionally with leadership.
Requirements
- CA with 812 years of relevant experience, ideally across high-growth startups, consumer brands, or operationally intensive businesses.
- Strong hands-on experience across FP&A, MIS, controllership, cash-flow management, and fundraising support.
- Experience working with manufacturing or supply-chain driven businesses will be advantageous.
- Ability to build processes and systems from scratch in a fast-moving, entrepreneurial environment.
