Job Description
As the Head of Finance and HR at 3E Services LLP, you will play a pivotal role in managing the financial health and human resource functions of the company in the construction sector. In addition to the previously mentioned responsibilities, you will also be responsible for overseeing payroll, statutory compliance, ISO 9001 documentation, training and development, performance management, rewards and remuneration, recruitment, and contract labor management.
Key Responsibilities
- Financial Management: Manage and oversee the day-to-day financial operations of the construction company, ensuring accuracy and compliance with all relevant financial regulations.
- Accounting: Maintain and manage financial records, ledgers, and accounts. Ensure timely and accurate entry of financial data.
- GST and Statutory Compliance: Ensure compliance with GST regulations and other statutory requirements specific to the construction industry. File all necessary returns and maintain necessary records.
- Receivables and Payables: Manage the accounts receivable and payable functions, including timely invoicing, payment collection, and vendor payments in the construction sector.
- Bank Transactions: Oversee bank transactions related to construction projects, including reconciliations, fund transfers, and bank-related documentation.
- Tally ERP Expertise: Utilize Tally ERP for effective financial management and reporting within the construction industry.
- Inventory Management: Manage and monitor inventory levels for construction projects, including reconciliations and valuation.
- P&L and Balance Sheet Finalization: Prepare and finalize profit and loss statements and balance sheets specific to construction, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Monthly P&L Preparation: Prepare monthly profit and loss statements for construction projects and analyze financial performance.
- Cashflow and Fund Flow Statements: Prepare and analyze cash flow and fund flow statements to ensure effective liquidity management within the construction sector.
- Payment Collection: Oversee payment collection activities for construction projects and implement efficient processes.
- Contract Labor Contracts and Payments: Manage and ensure compliance with contract labor contracts and payments within the construction industry.
- HR Activities and Payroll: Oversee HR activities, including payroll processing and employee-related financial transactions.
- Statutory and Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements such as PF, ESI, and PT.
- Monthly, Quarterly, Half-Yearly, and Annual Returns: Prepare and submit all required returns on time, including monthly, quarterly, half-yearly, and annual returns in line with regulatory requirements.
- ISO 9001 Documentation: Manage and maintain ISO 9001 documentation and compliance for quality management.
- Training and Development: Develop and implement training programs for employees to enhance their skills and competencies.
- Performance Management: Establish and oversee performance management systems and processes.
- Rewards and Remuneration: Design and administer reward and remuneration programs to motivate and retain employees.
- Recruitment: Oversee the recruitment process, including sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding new employees.
- Contract Labour Management: Manage contract labor, ensuring compliance with labor laws and efficient utilization.
Qualifications And Experience
- B.Com or M.Com degree in Finance or Accounting.
- 10-15 years of relevant experience in accounting and finance within the construction industry.
- Strong expertise in Tally ERP and other financial software.
- Proven experience in financial management, GST, statutory compliance, and financial reporting specific to construction.
- Excellent knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations within the construction sector.
