- 20+ years of professional experience in electrical design and engineering, preferably with 3+ years of experience in data center projects or similar critical infrastructure.
- In-depth understanding of electrical system design principles, including structural and load calculations.
- Familiarity with Public Works Department (PWD) processes, certifications, and standards for large-scale projects.
- Proven track record in managing multi-disciplinary teams and delivering complex engineering solutions on time and within budget.
- Strong grasp of techno-commercial aspects of electrical design, procurement, and vendor evaluation.
- Comprehensive knowledge of energy-efficient designs and value engineering practices.
Education and Certifications
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering (Diploma in Electrical Engineering with relevant experience will also be considered).
- Certified Data Centre Professional (CDCP) and relevant Public Works Department (PWD) certifications (mandatory).
- Additional certifications in advanced design software or energy systems (preferred).
Technical Skills
- Experience in performing structural and load calculations to ensure optimal design and equipment sizing.
- Competence in analyzing and designing electrical systems adhering to standards such as BS, IEC, NBC, and other relevant codes.
- Proficient in ETAP, AutoCAD and MS Office.
