Head - Design & Technical

Job Purpose

The Head - Design & Technical will lead the design management, new product development (NPD), product efficiency initiatives, and estimation ecosystem for quotes within the Eternia business. This role is pivotal in driving innovation, ensuring technical excellence, and enabling customer-centric solutions that strengthen Eternia's market leadership.

Product Upgradation/Modifications

• Evaluation, Concept design and proposal, Customer feedback, Sales sign-off, Design, Die development, HW sourcing, Sampling, Testing, Window Maker/ CPQ integration, Manual, Training content

Institutionalise design process

• Team set-up, development and training
  Process design, digitisation

Window Maker/ CPQ

• Integration of all new developments into Window Maker
  Window Maker update /upkeep / Error resolution- Ensure accuracy of output

Project Business- Technical overview & Quality Check

Review & sign-off of any design changes done for a project
Review & sign-off of costing in case of any design changes
Review and sign-off of Installed product quality check

Training Content

Ensure complete product and technical training developed with presentation & video-based pedagogy ready
Assessment model on training
Conducting pilot trainings + Train the trainer

R&D Lab set-up

Establish World Class R&D Centre

Technical Support

Providing technical guidance and support to all business verticals as and when required
Regular review and upkeep of manuals, training content, CPQ

Cost Efficiency

% reduction in material cost, % improvement in product performance.
