Role Overview
We are looking for a Compliance Leader & Product Owner, someone who can truly act as the end-to-end owner of ManuComply.
This is not just a compliance role. This is a strategic, operational, and product leadership role requiring deep expertise in multi-industry compliance, strong client-facing capability, and a tech-first mindset.
You will own everything—from compliance framework creation to product evolution, implementation excellence, and client success.
What We're Looking For
- Hardcore Compliance Expert with exposure to multiple industries (not limited to one domain)
- Strong understanding of Indian regulatory environment (corporate, labour, environmental, etc.)
- Experience in compliance implementation and advisory
- Must be tech-savvy and comfortable working with digital platforms / SaaS products
- Prior experience in Compliance Management Software / Legal Tech / SaaS environment preferred
- Strong client-handling and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to think both strategically (product & process) and operationally (execution & delivery)
Key Responsibilities
1. Compliance Ownership (Core)
- Build and oversee multi-industry compliance frameworks (ability to handle compliance for any sector/client).
- Lead creation of comprehensive compliance checklists based on industry, geography, and regulatory applicability.
- Ensure continuous updates to compliance databases in line with regulatory changes.
- Drive deep understanding of end-to-end compliance lifecycle (applicability → checklist → execution → tracking → reporting).
2. Product Ownership (ManuComply)
- Act as the business owner of the product.
- Continuously evaluate market competitors and similar compliance tools.
- Suggest and drive product enhancements, automation improvements, and feature upgrades.
- Work closely with the tech team for customizations, integrations, and new feature rollouts.
- Ensure the platform remains scalable, intuitive, and aligned with client needs.
3. Implementation & Client Success
- Lead end-to-end implementation of ManuComply for enterprise clients.
- Understand requirements of Compliance Heads / CXOs and translate them into execution.
- Oversee data migration, system configuration, and onboarding.
- Ensure timely updates of compliance checklists and regulatory changes for clients.
- Act as a trusted advisor to clients on compliance processes and best practices.
4. Operations & Quality Control
- Ensure smooth operational execution of compliance processes.
- Monitor that checklists are accurate, timelines are met, and processes are followed.
- Maintain high quality and reliability standards across all deliverables.
5. Team Leadership
- Lead and mentor a team of Compliance Analysts.
- Drive performance, training, and capability building.
- Create a culture of ownership, accuracy, and accountability.
6. Cross-functional Collaboration
- Work closely with:
- Sales Team – for new client onboarding and requirement understanding
- Technology Team – for product improvements and issue resolution
- Client - Stakeholders – to understand their compliance requirements, interpret expectations, and ensure the solution is aligned with their organizational needs
Qualifications
- LLB (mandatory) from a reputed institution
- CS / LLM (preferred)
