Job Description

Develop and implement compliance policies and procedures to meet regulatory requirements.
Monitor and assess compliance risks across the organisation's business activities.
Ensure timely reporting and resolution of compliance issues to relevant authorities.
Conduct regular compliance audits and provide recommendations for improvements.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of regulatory changes and ensure the organisation's adherence.
Collaborate with internal teams to promote a culture of compliance and ethical practices.
Provide training and guidance to employees on compliance-related matters.
Serve as the primary point of contact for regulatory bodies and external auditors.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Head of Compliance should have:

A degree in law, finance, or a related field.
Proven expertise in compliance within the banking or financial services industry.
Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks and risk management practices.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Effective communication and leadership abilities.
Capacity to work collaboratively across teams and functions.
