Job Description

  • Develop and implement compliance policies and procedures to meet regulatory requirements.
  • Monitor and assess compliance risks across the organisation's business activities.
  • Ensure timely reporting and resolution of compliance issues to relevant authorities.
  • Conduct regular compliance audits and provide recommendations for improvements.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of regulatory changes and ensure the organisation's adherence.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to promote a culture of compliance and ethical practices.
  • Provide training and guidance to employees on compliance-related matters.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for regulatory bodies and external auditors.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Head of Compliance should have:

  • A degree in law, finance, or a related field.
  • Proven expertise in compliance within the banking or financial services industry.
  • Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks and risk management practices.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication and leadership abilities.
  • Capacity to work collaboratively across teams and functions.
