Job Description

  • Job Purpose:

Plan, design and implement compensation strategy, employee benefits plans and policies, performance management, HR Operations, Job Analysis & Evaluation and HRMIS to facilitate clarity on roles and structures, strengthen performance culture, enhance market competitiveness, ensure smooth employee life cycle processes & effective employee cost control. The role is responsible for driving the Performance Management System, Compensation benchmarking and HR operations to ensure employee satisfaction and adherence to HR Compliance and audit standards with aligned objectives to support the business goals.

Accountability

Plan, initiate, and monitor the salary budgeting as well as payroll process to ensure that the organization's pay cycle is completed effectively in a timely manner

  • Design & Deploy market competitive compensation strategy in line with ABC / ABG compensation philosophy
  • Conduct market benchmark surveys.
  • Design and implementation of variable pay plan and LTIPs and effectively manage the compensation pay mix to keep overall compensation attractive as well as cost efficient
  • Communicate senior managers on compensation philosophy and mkt. movements
  • Perform budgeting analysis to design and determine salary increases and costs on payroll.
  • Seek approval on salary budgets from the management team and roll out the increment exercise
  • Communicate effective salary increases to the organization
  • Supervise payroll vendor to ensure smooth and timely processing of salaries.
  • Ensure audit compliance of payroll process.
  • Ensure that queries, clarifications, and grievances with regards to payroll and salary increments are addressed in timely manner

Ensure Role clarity across the organization to measure contribution of roles and facilitating the Job Analysis and Evaluation process at BSLAMC to be in line with the process and standards laid down at ABC / ABG

  • Manage the Job evaluation process
  • Ensure role clarity across the organization by overseeing creation of the Job Descriptions of all position in order to carve out the competency framework and aid the Job Evaluation process.
  • Educate internal audiences on job evaluation and its impact

Organization Design

  • Develops and implements sustainable business strategies, through designing and implementing sustainable organization structure
  • Anticipates and perceives the impact and implications of future decisions and activities on other parts of the organization
  • Compensation Modelling to improve efficiency and productivity
  • Peer Analysis of industry structures & Roles
  • Cost Efficiency

Drive performance management systems to ensure high performance culture

  • Liaise with functional heads and team members to ensure smooth and timely compliance with system
  • Coordinate with training for educating employees on Performance Mgt online systems
  • Audit on Goal Setting
  • Ensure the launch and completion of the performance management plan in a timely manner.
  • Collaborate and perform ratings analysis and normal distribution curve.
  • Ensure communication of performance ratings to the employees etc.

Plan, initiate and drive the employee benefits programs and policies for the organisation to ensure a balanced mix of cash and benefits offered to employees as per the organisation strategy and philosophy

  • Conduct market surveys to gather information on best practices etc
  • Perform need gap analysis and initiate new benefit plans as well as ensure smoother operations of current schemes.
  • Ensure policies are as per statutory/legal norms
  • Document and Communicate the policies to the organisation and employees and address queries, clarifications as well as grievances
  • Supervise implementation of HR policies
  • Define and manage budgets towards employee benefits plans and policies

Drive HR operations and enhance service delivery to all employees as per defined SLA's & TAT's

  • Define SOP's for all HR operations processes in line with standards laid down at ABC / ABG
  • Manage life cycle of employee on HR administration aspects as per defined TAT's
  • Initiate process and workflow improvements in liaison with ABC HR Operations
  • Oversee HR Statutory Compliance for the Organisation to ensure that applicable labour laws and statutory compliances are followed within timelines

Ensure smooth management of HRIS for the organisation to ensure that employee records are maintained and updated in a timely manner

  • Define SOP's for all data maintenance in HRIS systems.
  • Review employee records and ensure that information is uploaded on the people soft and HRMS system within defined TAT's
  • Be part of the new systems development in liaison with central ABC HR Ops and provide inputs to ensure that data is migrated accurately from legacy to new systems, conduct test scenarios with vendors
  • Conduct and collaborate on periodic information audits

Team Management & Cascading information to Business Partnering team

  • Ensure adequate knowledge sharing, training and engagement with the team in order to enable them to perform and achieve their KRA as well as take on higher responsibilities.
  • Mentor, supervise and coach and well as provide direction to team members
  • Ensure that Business HR team is updated on HR and Benefits Policies, Compensation Philosophy, Performance Management, JAE, V Pay plans, Employee related data and other such programs to enable them to address employee queries as well as aid in employee engagement on these matters.
