Role Overview
The Lighthouse Mentorship Program is a personalised mentorship ecosystem that combines AI-driven performance analysis with one-to-one human guidance. It supports students through customised study plans, progress tracking, emotional well-being sessions, and parent involvement. We are looking for a
seasoned, relationship-driven leader to head
College Outreach & Partnerships, responsible for building, scaling, and institutionalising partnerships with colleges and universities across regions.
This role demands
strategic thinking, on-ground execution strength, and strong stakeholder management with principals, directors, TPOs, HODs, and education bodies. The individual will be responsible for both
relationship depth and measurable outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- College Partnerships & Network Building
Build and own long-term partnerships with
colleges, universities, and educational institutions (government & private).
Develop relationships with
college leadership Principals, Directors, Deans, HODs, Placement Officers, and Trustees.
Position Lighthouse as a
credible academic and career partner, not just a vendor.
Identify high-potential institutions and expand Lighthouse's footprint across key regions.
- Outreach Strategy & Execution
Design and execute
college outreach strategies including seminars, workshops, career talks, aptitude sessions, test-prep orientations, and counselling initiatives.
Create structured outreach calendars aligned with
academic cycles, admissions, placements, and exam timelines.
Ensure consistent execution quality across institutions while scaling volume.
- Partnerships, MoUs & Collaborations
Lead discussions, negotiations, and closures for
MoUs, strategic tie-ups, and long-term collaborations.
Structure winwin partnership models involving student programs, certifications, mentoring, assessments, and career guidance initiatives.
Work with legal and internal teams to formalise agreements and ensure compliance.
- Team Leadership & Capability Building
Build, mentor, and lead a
college outreach and partnerships team.
Set clear targets, KPIs, and accountability frameworks for outreach managers and executives.
Drive a culture of
ownership, professionalism, and outcome orientation.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration
Work closely with
academics, product, marketing, and operations teams to design relevant offerings for colleges.
Provide market and college-level feedback to help improve Lighthouse programs and positioning.
Coordinate with marketing for branding, visibility, and institutional presence.
- Metrics, Reporting & Growth
Own metrics such as
number of active partnerships, student reach, conversion to programs, retention of partner colleges, and engagement depth.
Track ROI on outreach initiatives and continuously refine strategy for scale and efficiency.
Prepare structured reports and insights for senior leadership.
Desired Candidate Profile
Experience
48 years of experience in college outreach, institutional partnerships, business development, or academic alliances.
Strong experience in
edtech, higher education, skilling, test preparation, or education services.
Proven track record of building and managing
large college networks.
Education
Bachelor's or Master's degree required.
Education from a reputed / marquee institute is highly preferred.
