Key Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end civil and structural maintenance activities across the plant to ensure asset integrity, safety, and operational reliability.
- Plan, schedule, and execute preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance for buildings, foundations, roads, drainage systems, and industrial structures.
- Review structural health assessments and audit reports; identify risks and implement timely corrective and preventive actions.
- Ensure strict compliance with VSAP, EHS standards, sustainability guidelines, and all applicable statutory and legal requirements related to civil operations.
- Own and manage civil maintenance budgets, drive cost optimization initiatives, and ensure efficient utilization of resources and materials.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders including operations, projects, safety, and engineering teams to ensure infrastructure readiness and smooth execution of civil works.
- Oversee contract workforce deployment, vendor selection, performance management, billing validation, and material consumption control.
- Establish and monitor KPIs such as response time, maintenance cost efficiency, asset availability, and structural reliability.
- Drive continuous improvement projects focused on reliability enhancement, process standardization, and lifecycle asset management.
- Support infrastructure upgrades, expansions, and refurbishment projects to meet operational requirements.
- Ensure readiness to handle high maintenance demand during monsoon conditions and periods of heavy equipment operation.
- Strengthen business partner performance through clear governance, reviews, and performance-based engagement.
Experience & Qualification:
•B. Tech/B.E. in Civil with 12+ years of relevant experience in metal & mining industry.
