Parallax Luxury, and its venture Courtside in Worli is looking for a Head Chef, leading line kitchen to deliver consistently high-quality food, spearhead administrative abilities and deliver delightful guest experiences.
In addition to duties mentioned below, we work best with chefs who focus on continuous improvement and possess a strong knack of leadership.

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Responsible for supervising junior chefs or commis and developing line cooks with strong independence, palettes and leadership qualities.
- Ensure that the production, preparation and presentation of food are of the highest quality at all times.
- Implementation of all SOPs pertaining to food preparation, receiving, storage and sanitation per FSSAI standards.
- Operate and maintain all department equipment and reporting of malfunctioning.
- Ensure effective communication between staff by maintaining a secure and friendly working environment.
- Establish and maintain effective inter-departmental working relationships.
- Demonstrate excellent knowledge of menu creation, whilst maintaining quality and controlling costs in a volume food business.
- Demonstrate a multi-skilled ability to handle and manage and float between various kitchen sections as per demand.
- Possess the ability to produce own work in accordance with a deadline and to assist and encourage others in achieving this aim.
Pre-requisites:
- Hotel Management Graduate or Culinary Degree with minimum 3 years certification.
- 7 Years of general experience with 1 year of role-specific experience.
- Flexible working hours subject to the demands of the business.
