Job Description

  • Oversee daily kitchen operations:

This includes opening and closing procedures, managing inventory, and ensuring smooth food production.

  • Maintain food quality and standards:

Ensure all dishes are prepared and presented to the highest standards, and that food safety and hygiene regulations are strictly followed.

  • Control stock and inspect deliveries:

Manage inventory levels, order supplies, and ensure the quality of incoming ingredients.

  • Maintain thorough and accurate records:

Keep track of food costs, inventory, and staff performance.

  • Supervise kitchen staff:

Train, motivate, and schedule staff, and address any performance issues.

  • Lead pre-shift meetings:

Brief staff on the day's schedule, special orders, and any important information.
