Job Description

Key responsibilities

As head of product and distribution marketing, collaborate with all stakeholders including within marketing team (and outside) to maximize GTM and reach of initiatives.

Lead all BTL initiatives of the function.

Distribution marketing

  • Assist in developing and executing the marketing & branding strategy for all channels
  • Planning, strategizing and ensuring the implementation of the strategies to achieve the channel objectives.
  • Co-ordinate with distribution function to implement initiatives to support sales
  • Ensure effective media evaluation & planning to attain maximum ROI
  • Coordinate with advertising & research agencies to develop suitable trade initiatives
  • Coordinate with all departments for their requirements.

Internal communication – for channel

  • Provide marketing support to all internal stakeholders
  • Manage the calendar on an ongoing basis

Product Launches

  • SPOC for working with product and training team for new product launch
  • Create innovative mediums to market new product launch
  • Product pitches, sales stories
  • GTM of product launches
  • Reinvigorating conversations on existing products

Lead Insurer – Sikkim

  • Responsible for enabling insurance awareness and penetration in the state by ensuring focused sales support and activation on a monthly basis

CSR/The Human Safety Net

  • Supporting and creating avenues for increased employee volunteering and fundraising for THSN that aids development of underserved communities and child education

Innovation and AI

  • Demonstrate use and benefit of AI across workflows
  • Innovative launches/projects – once a quarter
  • Must possess strong story telling skills

Competition tracking from marketing point of view

  • Track competition and come up with recommendations basis best practices
  • Track competition for their distribution and product strategy

Stakeholder Management

  • Manage the marketing function/team by driving growth and motivation of the team members and understanding individual needs, thereby helping them work cohesively
  • Manage the senior management and the shareholders by influencing them and pitching them new ideas and strategies

Qualifications

  • Graduate. Post-Graduation in Marketing (preferred)
  • Experience in customer management and insurance sector is preferred
