This is a high visibility, high impact role, reporting to COO. The key purpose is to ensure the organization has the right talent to be able to grow aggressively - to get into the next orbit. This includes competency development, internal rotations, demand forecasting and external hiring.
Responsibilities:
- Fulfillment (40%):
- Responsible for capturing & forecasting demand of technical resources by working closely with Sales and Delivery heads
- Monthly demand forecast for next 90 days
- SPOC from delivery oversight on external hiring
- Responsible and accountable for fulfillment of resources for all new customers and select existing customer by working closely with TA head
Bench Management (40%):
- Define, Assign and manage internal projects to bench resources
- Practices (other than DevOps and QA) should be consulted on regular basis to get projects for showcase of skills/offerings.
- Tracking of productivity and competency of bench resources
- Managing cost budget (bench)
- Mapping bench to upcoming opportunities to improve fulfillment
Competency Management (20%):
- Custodian of all technical assessments (process and tools) for technical hires (upto lead level)
- Define, implement and continuous improvement of assessment methodology and tools for technical hiring
- Managing cost of assessment (part of cost of hiring)
- Learning & development of technical competencies Competency building programs (CBPs) defining and executing Competency framework and assessment of all delivery resources ongoing basis
Qualifications:
- Should be from a software delivery background
- Should have some experience in fulfillment / bench / practice
