Head - Business Operations

Role Overview

Our client is looking to hire a Head of Business Operations to drive operational excellence, business performance and strategic execution across the organisation. The role will work closely with the leadership team to drive key business priorities, improve operational efficiencies, build scalable processes and ensure effective execution of strategic initiatives.

The ideal candidate should have a strong background in the consumer technology industry, with experience in managing cross-functional business operations, driving large-scale initiatives and working in fast-paced, high-growth environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Own and drive business operations, ensuring effective execution of key business priorities and strategic initiatives.
• Work closely with the leadership team to translate business strategy into actionable plans and drive execution across functions.
• Drive business performance through data-led decision-making, tracking key metrics, identifying gaps and implementing corrective actions.
• Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency, streamline processes and build scalable operating frameworks.
• Lead cross-functional initiatives across product, technology, marketing, sales, customer experience and other business functions.
• Build strong review mechanisms, dashboards and performance management frameworks to track business outcomes.
• Drive special projects and strategic initiatives, including new business launches, market expansion and organisational transformation.
• Work closely with functional leaders to solve complex business challenges and improve overall organisational effectiveness.

Ideal Candidate Profile

• 10–15 years of overall experience, with a significant part of the experience in the consumer technology industry.
• Strong educational pedigree, preferably from a premier engineering or management institution.
• Experience working with high-growth consumer tech, internet, e-commerce or digital-first businesses.
• Strong understanding of business operations, business strategy, operational excellence and cross-functional execution.
• Demonstrated experience in driving large-scale projects and working closely with senior leadership teams.
