Job Description

Description:

. Role :

a. Focus on identifying and securing new business opportunities, building

relationships with key stakeholders, and drive revenue growth.

. Key Responsibilities:

a. Identify potential target markets, customers, and partnerships through

market research.

b. Generate leads, develop new business, and nurture relationships with

potential clients.

c. Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including

domestic customers, regulatory bodies etc.

d. Develop and execute business development strategies, including

strategic alliances, collaborations, and licensing agreements.

e. Negotiate and draft commercial contracts to secure new business

deals.

f. Work closely with in-house R&D, manufacturing, quality & regulatory

affairs and supplychain to support business development initiatives.

g. Stay informed of industry trends, regulations, and developments.

h. Provide regular updates and reports on business development

activities and progress.

i. Focus on increasing revenue through new business acquisitions and

customer retention.

j. Manage the entire sales cycle, from initial contact to contract signing.

k. Manage and forecast sales budgets and expenses.

Skills and Qualifications:

a. 10-15 years of experience in API sales & BD function.

b. Proven commercial acumen.

c. Ability to analyse market data, identify trends, and develop effective

strategies.

d. Networking & Relationship building.

e. Understanding of API trade and regulatory requirements.

f. Science graduate with qualification in management.
