Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Head Barista role based in Surat. The Head Barista will oversee daily operations of the beverage section, ensuring the quality and consistency of all coffee and specialty drinks. Responsibilities include preparing and serving beverages, managing inventory, supervising and training barista team members, and maintaining cleanliness and organization of the workspace. The Head Barista will also assist with developing and updating drink menus, sourcing high-quality ingredients, and providing exceptional customer service to enhance the guest experience.

Qualifications

• Expertise in coffee preparation, latte art, and understanding coffee blends and brewing techniques
• Strong hands-on experience operating, calibrating, troubleshooting, and maintaining professional espresso machines and coffee grinders 
• Experience in leadership roles, staff training, and team management within a coffee shop or restaurant setting
• Strong customer service and communication skills, with a passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences
• Proficiency in inventory management and order management practices to ensure stock availability
• Attention to detail, ability to multitask, and a commitment to maintaining a clean and organized work environment
• Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays, as needed
• Previous experience in crafting innovative specialty drink menus and exploring new beverage trends is a plus
