  • Drive large-scale debt & equity funding across India and overseas markets

Job Description

Reporting to the CFO, the candidate will be responsible for leading the banking and corporate finance function across the group and its subsidiaries.Key responsibilities will include:

  • Managing and strengthening relationships with banks, financial institutions and other lending partners
  • Leading debt fundraising initiatives across term loans, working capital and other structured borrowing requirement. Will also include equity fund-raising/structuring assignments as and when required.
  • Work on International financing such as ECBs, Bonds Etc.
  • Coordinating with lenders for documentation, compliance, sanctions, renewals and drawdowns
  • Managing credit rating processes and liaising with rating agencies
  • Supporting financing requirements across multiple group entities and subsidiaries
  • Evaluating and executing domestic and overseas financing opportunities
  • Partnering with internal stakeholders to ensure timely completion of banking and financing requirements
  • Managing a team and ensuring effective execution across corporate finance activities
  • Travelling as required for business, lender and project-related requirements

The Successful Applicant

  • CA or MBA qualification with 10+ years of relevant experience
  • Strong experience in banking relationships, corporate finance, project finance or debt fundraising
  • Prior exposure to large corporate lending, structured debt, working capital and term loan arrangements
  • Experience coordinating with banks, financial institutions and credit rating agencies
  • Ability to manage documentation, compliance and lender processes independently
  • Prior experience in heavy manufacturing, mining, infrastructure, EPC, industrials, oil & gas, banking or rating agencies preferred
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to work closely with senior leadership
  • Comfort with domestic and overseas financing exposure would be an added advantage
