About The Opportunity

Our multidisciplinary teams combine surgical precision, cutting-edge diagnostics, and personalized treatment pathways to improve survival and quality of life for patients across urban and rural communities. We are expanding our surgical oncology division to meet rising patient volumes and regional demand for specialized care.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Perform complex surgical interventions for oral, pharyngeal, laryngeal, thyroid, salivary gland, and skull base cancers, including ablative, reconstructive, and microvascular procedures.
  • Lead multidisciplinary tumor boards to coordinate staging, treatment planning, and post-op care with radiation oncologists, medical oncologists, and speech/swallowing therapists.
  • Diagnose and stage head and neck cancers using endoscopy, imaging review, and biopsy interpretation; recommend optimal surgical or combined modality therapy.
  • Provide pre- and post-operative counseling to patients and families, ensuring informed consent, expectations management, and psychosocial support.
  • Maintain meticulous surgical logs, audit outcomes, and adhere to clinical protocols aligned with NCCN, ESMO, and NCC guidelines.
  • Train surgical residents, fellows, and junior staff in oncological principles, surgical technique, and perioperative care standards.

Skills & Qualifications

Must-Have

  • MBBS
  • MS General Surgery
  • MCh Surgical Oncology (with focus on Head and Neck)
  • DNB Surgical Oncology
  • Robotic-assisted surgery
  • Microvascular reconstruction
  • Transoral robotic surgery (TORS)
  • Flap reconstruction

Preferred

  • Fellowship in Head and Neck Oncosurgery (US/Europe/UK)
  • Publication in peer-reviewed surgical oncology journals
  • Experience in clinical trials or research protocols
