Job Description
Role
The Head Admissions & Outreach, TDV Europe owns end-to-end growth for TDV's European footprint, from an enrolment and revenue point of view, spanning the TDV/EDNA Nantes joint pathway program and the TDV Italy (Castello di Torrazzetta) campus. The role combines strategic demand generation with revenue, unit economics and channel management across two full-time program lines: Nantes (undergraduate and postgraduate) and Italy (postgraduate now, with undergraduate to be activated for full-time degree programs). This is a leadership and relationship role as much as a growth one and is responsible for turning TDV's European partnerships into a predictable, well-run, profitable admissions engine, while keeping all sides aligned and informed.
Key Responsibilities
Growth & funnel ownership
• Own the full admissions funnel across Nantes and Italy - lead generation, conversion and yield across channels, with a focus on schools.
• Carry revenue and unit-economics accountability for both program lines.
• Bring a qualitative read on funnel health- where prospective students are hesitating, what counselling narratives are landing, where the team needs support, to complement the numbers tracked internally.
Partnership stewardship
• Own the day-to-day relationship with EDNA Nantes acting as TDV's primary point of contact on enrollments.
• Maintain a consistent counselling narrative and resolve fee, process or expectation gaps between the Indian and French sides before they become friction.
• Eventually build out the equivalent partnership footing in Italy as that campus activates, applying the same operating discipline established in Nantes.
• Represent TDV credibly in academic and institutional settings, protecting the reputation and long-term health of both partnerships.
Team & operational leadership
• Lead, coach and grow the Nantes (and, as it scales, Italy) admissions & outreach teams, building a strong local bench over time rather than relying on any single individual.
• Set the operating cadence for both offices how the teams plan, review and adjust their work , so execution stays consistent even as targets and priorities shift.
• Own hiring, onboarding and capability-building decisions across both program lines, in consultation with the Director.
Cross-functional coordination
• Hold a regular cadence with Management team on funnel, P&L and channel performance, surfacing issues early rather than after they compound.
• Coordinate with TDV India functions (marketing, communications, online marketing) to keep the Nantes and Italy offices resourced and unblocked.
Profile
• Proven experience running admissions or growth for a European or transnational higher-education institution, ideally design, architecture or creative-industry-adjacent.
• Fluent in managing channel-partner (schools, online) economics, including deferred-payment and cash-flow-sensitive structures.
• A people leader first: someone who can build, coach and retain high-performing teams.
• Strong relationship and negotiation instincts, able to hold a consistent line with academic partners while remaining collaborative.
• English remains the working language. French and/or Italian language capability is a plus. Traits
• Entrepreneurial, thinker's instincts and a bias for action.
• Strong people skills and a natural team-builder.
• Great negotiation skills, both internal and external.
• Culturally fluent and globally oriented, with a genuine ecosystem network to draw on.
• High integrity and a trustworthy custodian of partner-facing relationships across two campuses.
