The HCM Fusion Solution Architect is responsible for designing and overseeing the implementation of Oracle HCM Cloud (Fusion) solutions to meet business requirements. The role ensures that all HCM processes are effectively mapped to Oracle HCM Cloud modules while maintaining compliance, scalability, and best practices. The Solution Architect acts as a bridge between business stakeholders, functional and technical teams, and ensures the optimal use of Oracle HCM suite capabilities.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

  • Solution Design
  • Analyze business requirements and translate them into scalable, robust Oracle HCM Cloud architectures
  • Develop end-to-end solution blueprints covering Core HR, Payroll, Recruiting, Talent Management, Compensation, Benefits, Absence Management, and related modules
  • Lead architecture design sessions and solution reviews
  • Stakeholder Management
  • Partner with business leaders, HR, IT, and project managers to define requirements
  • Present architectural solutions and roadmaps to executive stakeholders
  • Implementation Oversight
  • Oversee and guide the configuration, integration, and customization of Oracle HCM Cloud applications
  • Ensure alignment of solution designs with Oracle best practices and organizational standards
  • Integration & Data Migration
  • Design integration strategies between HCM Cloud and internal/external systems (e.g., payroll providers, ERP, benefits)
  • Plan and oversee data migration activities from legacy HCM systems to Oracle Fusion HCM
  • Governance & Compliance
  • Ensure system design and configuration adhere to regulatory, data privacy, and security requirements
  • Maintain system documentation, architectural diagrams, and governance standards
  • Continuous Improvement
  • Monitor industry trends and Oracle HCM Cloud product roadmaps to recommend optimization opportunities
  • Identify and drive process improvements and automation initiatives

Desired Skills and Competencies


  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of cross-functional teams
  • Hands-on experience with tools such as Oracle Integration Cloud, Fast Formula, BI Publisher, HDL, and HCM Data Loader
  • Oracle certifications in HCM Cloud (Architect, Implementation Specialist, etc.) is a plus
  • Experience in large-scale, global HCM cloud deployments
  • Working knowledge of regulatory requirements (GDPR, HIPAA, etc.) affecting HCM system architectures
