Role: Oracle HCM Functional Consultant

Location: India
Experience: 5-12 Years
Employment Type: Full Time

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Oracle HCM Functional Consultant with strong expertise across multiple Oracle HCM Cloud modules to support implementation, optimization, and transformation programs. The consultant will work closely with business stakeholders, HR teams, and technical teams to deliver scalable HR solutions aligned with business objectives.

The ideal candidate should possess strong functional knowledge, implementation experience, stakeholder management skills, and ability to translate HR processes into Oracle HCM solutions.

Key Responsibilities 1. Oracle HCM Implementation & Configuration
  • Lead end-to-end implementation, rollout, and support of Oracle HCM Cloud modules.
  • Conduct business requirement workshops with HR stakeholders.
  • Translate HR business processes into functional designs and configurations.
  • Configure and support Oracle HCM modules as per client requirements.
  • Perform system testing, UAT support, and production deployment.
2. Core HCM & Workforce Management
  • Configure Core HR, Workforce Structures, Workforce Lifecycle Management.
  • Manage Legal Entities, Business Units, Departments, Positions, Grades.
  • Support employee lifecycle processes including hire, transfer, promotion, termination.
3. Talent Management
  • Implement and support modules including:
    • Goal Management
    • Performance Management
    • Talent Review
    • Succession Planning
    • Career Development
  • Support performance cycles, talent review meetings, and talent analytics.
4. Recruitment & Onboarding
  • Configure and support:
    • Oracle Recruiting Cloud (ORC)
    • Recruitment workflows
    • Offer management
    • Candidate experience
    • Onboarding & Journeys
  • Partner with recruiting teams to optimize hiring workflows.
5. Learning Management
  • Configure Oracle Learning Cloud
  • Manage:
    • Learning assignments
    • Learning paths
    • Certification tracking
    • Compliance training
6. Compensation & Benefits
  • Configure:
    • Compensation cycles
    • Salary review processes
    • Variable compensation plans
    • Benefit plans and eligibility rules
7. Absence & Workforce Management
  • Implement and manage:
    • Absence Management
    • Leave plans
    • Accrual rules
    • Time and labor policies
8. Reporting & Analytics
  • Build and support reports using:
    • OTBI (Oracle Transactional Business Intelligence)
    • BI Publisher
    • HCM Extracts
  • Support HR analytics and dashboards for business decision making.
9. Integration & Data Migration
  • Collaborate with technical teams on:
    • HCM Data Loader (HDL)
    • HCM Extracts
    • Fast Formulas
    • REST/SOAP integrations
  • Support data migration and transformation activities.
10. Stakeholder Engagement
  • Work closely with HR leadership, business stakeholders, and IT teams.
  • Provide functional guidance and best practices.
  • Conduct training sessions for HR users and administrators.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in HR, Business Administration, IT, or related field.
  • Oracle HCM Cloud Certifications preferred.
Experience
  • 5+ years of experience in Oracle HCM Cloud implementations.
  • Experience in at least 2-3 full lifecycle HCM implementations.
  • Experience working with global HR processes preferred.
