Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced Oracle HCM Functional Consultant with strong expertise in Oracle Time & Labor (OTL). The candidate will be responsible for implementing, configuring, and supporting OTL and related HCM modules to meet business requirements, ensuring efficient workforce time management and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
OTL Implementation & Support:
- Lead end-to-end implementation and support of Oracle Time & Labor (OTL)
- Configure time entry layouts, time categories, approval workflows, and rules
- Manage timecard processing, validations, and error resolution
Business Requirement Gathering:
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements
- Translate business needs into functional specifications
Oracle HCM Configuration:
- Configure and support core HCM modules such as Core HR, Absence Management, and Payroll (as applicable)
- Ensure seamless integration of OTL with Payroll and other modules
Integration & Data Management:
- Work with technical teams on integrations, data conversions, and reports
- Support inbound/outbound interfaces related to time and labor data
Testing & Deployment:
- Prepare test scenarios, conduct SIT/UAT, and support go-live activities
- Ensure system stability post-implementation
Compliance & Process Improvement:
- Ensure compliance with labor laws and organizational policies
- Identify and implement process improvements for time tracking and reporting
Documentation & Training:
- Create functional documentation, user guides, and training materials
- Conduct end-user training sessions
Required Skills
- Strong hands-on experience in Oracle HCM with a focus on OTL
- Expertise in configuring time entry rules, approval workflows, and time categories
- Good understanding of Payroll integration with OTL
- Experience with Oracle E-Business Suite or Oracle Fusion HCM
- Knowledge of Fast Formulas, AME workflows, and OTL setup
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent stakeholder communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in Oracle Fusion HCM (OTL/Time and Labor Cloud preferred)
- Knowledge of Absence Management and Workforce Scheduling
- Exposure to integration tools like Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC)
- Certification in Oracle HCM or related modules
