Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in mechanical engineering or production engineering.
• 5 to 10 years of experience in mechanical design, preferably in the wind energy industry.

Required Skills -CAD Design Engineer (UGNX)

• Strong expertise in NX CAD (mandatory).
• Experience with Teamcenter.
• Knowledge of sheet metal and welded structure design.
• Good understanding of GD&T and engineering tolerances.
• Familiarity with international mechanical design standards.
• Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills.

Required Skills- Design Quality Checker (UGNX)

• Strong expertise in Siemens NX (UGNX) modeling, assembly, and drafting.
• Good knowledge of GD&T (ASME Y14.5) and engineering drawing standards.
• Experience in Teamcenter/PLM environments.
• Understanding of sheet metal, machined, fabricated, cast, and welded components.
• Ability to perform tolerance stack-up and quality audits of CAD deliverables.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Roles & Responsibilities-CAD Design Engineer (UGNX)

• Design and develop mechanical components for wind turbine structures.
• Create and modify bolted, welded, and sheet metal designs.
• Apply knowledge of sheet metal manufacturing, fabrication, and finishing processes. Manufacturing experience is an added advantage.
• Define and apply realistic tolerances using GPS/GD&T standards.
• Ensure compliance with international safety and mechanical design standards.
• Develop 3D and 2D CAD models using NX.
• Work with Teamcenter for product data and lifecycle management.
• Follow product design and development best practices.
• Identify and resolve design challenges through effective problem-solving.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and support technical discussions.
• Manage multiple tasks effectively while maintaining quality and delivery schedules.

Key Responsibilities -Design Quality Checker (UGNX)

• Perform quality checking of 3D CAD models, assemblies, and 2D drawings created in Siemens NX (UGNX).
• Verify compliance with engineering and drafting standards.
• Review GD&T, dimensions, tolerances, annotations, and drawing completeness.
• Conduct assembly and interference checks using DMU tools.
• Validate BOM structure, part attributes, and release documentation in PLM systems such as Teamcenter.
• Ensure adherence to design quality processes before release.
• Support engineering teams in resolving quality issues identified during design reviews.
• Participate in peer reviews and provide technical guidance to designers.
• Coordinate with global stakeholders, manufacturing, and quality teams for issue resolution.
