About the Role: -
We're seeking an experienced, hands-on Lead QA Engineer with 7+ years of exp to lead quality assurance initiatives for HCL AppScan integrations. You'll own end-to-end testing strategies, mentor junior QA resources, handle critical customer escalations, and drive automation innovation across the AppScan ecosystem.
Technical Skills: - What You'll Need: -
- 7 to 10 years hands-on QA experience with proven expertise in Manual and Automation testing at scale.
- Advanced proficiency in automation frameworks and AI-powered testing.
- Strong Docker knowledge; experience setting up and managing containerized test environments.
- Expert-level Jira management; experience with test management dashboards and workflow optimization.
- Demonstrated ability to handle L3 escalations and resolve production issues
- Experience testing third-party integrations and complex security tools (AppScan background valuable).
- Strong cross-functional collaboration and mentoring skills.
- Knowledge of server architecture, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps practices.

What You'll Do:
- Lead and execute comprehensive test strategies for AppScan integration modules; own accountability for quality across release cycles
- Design and architect AI-enhanced automation frameworks; drive continuous improvement in test coverage and efficiency
- Hands-on testing: execute complex test scenarios, debug issues, and validate integrations across environments
- Handle L3 customer escalations—investigate complex issues, reproduce bugs in production environments, and deliver root-cause analysis
- Collaborate across development, product, and DevOps teams to optimize testing workflows and integration pipelines
- Set up and manage test environments; configure Docker containers for isolated testing and CI/CD validation
- Create and maintain detailed test cases, manage test cycles, and report quality metrics via Jira
- Mentor junior QA engineers; establish testing best practices and standards
