Responsibilities
(40% of the time) Manage sourcing and cost negotiation activities with existing and potential suppliers. Meanwhile, to drive the localization of key components & materials and local supplier which can reliable supply our factories with consistent quality materials and components, meeting Hasbro and international Toy standards (e.g. chemical & ethical compliance) at competitive costs. (30%) Performance Management: Hands-on management to make sure that the Commodity Management key deliverables are met. (20% of the time) Process Improvement: Study the local commodity market, prepare analysis / forecast and price benchmarking of material trends and maintain a database for teamsu2019 reference when developing estimated cost. (10%) Reporting and Updates: Able to report the performance of the Commodities assigned and project given and provide timely updates in highlighting key issues of concerns and also areas of supports needed.
Additional Responsibilities:
Good knowledge on the cost drivers in manufacturing processes (plastic injection, sewing, decoration, product assembly, pack-out) and key commodities such as resin, packaging & printing, fabric and electronic components will be a strong plus. Fluent in English written and spoken, and Hindi in oral with Good Communication Skills. Be detail Oriented, independent, patient & self-driven style.
