We are hiring Hardware Design Engineers for multiple experience levels, from Junior to Senior Engineer - Power Electronics. Responsibilities:
- Lead the design and development of both digital and analog electronics for high-power control systems and Battery Management Systems (BMS) specifically tailored for automotive applications.
- Take complete ownership of control boards and electronics systems from concept through specification, design, prototyping, and manufacturing.
- Engage in cross-functional team collaborations with Firmware, Mechanical, Thermal Design, Testing, and Manufacturing departments to ensure seamless integration and optimization of electronics systems.
- Act as a technical expert in deep-dive troubleshooting and optimization of complex circuit designs
- Conduct comprehensive product-level electrical design activities, including simulation, component selection, circuit design and analysis, and insulation coordination
Requirements
For Hardware Design Engineers:
- 1-4 years of experience in hardware design, specifically for power electronics or related fields (experience with Li-Ion batteries is a plus).
- Working knowledge of Altium Designer, schematic capture, and PCB layout design.
- Experience with microcontrollers, power semiconductors (IGBTs, MOSFETs), and circuit simulation tools.
- Ability to collaborate effectively within a cross-functional team.
For Senior Engineer - Power Electronics:
- 5+ years of proven experience in Design and development of automotive-grade isolated and non-isolated DC-DC Converters, On-Board/Off-Board Chargers, Inverters, and Motor Control Power Stages..
- Perform component sizing and selection (MOSFETs, IGBTs, SiC/GaN devices, magnetics, gate drivers, protection circuits)
- Experience on simulations tools like LTspice, MATLAB/Simulink, PSIM, and thermal/EMI modeling tools.
- Strong knowledge of Magnetics design and component derating
- Leadership or mentorship experience is a plus.
Qualifications:
For All Levels:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electronics/Electrical Engineering or similar degree from a reputable institution, or equivalent professional experience.
