Selected Intern's Day-to-day Responsibilities Include
- Design and Prototype: Develop hardware circuits and PCB layouts for various IoT and embedded devices using KiCAD/EasyEDA/Eagle. Create prototypes from concept to working models.
- Firmware Development: Write efficient embedded C code for microcontrollers (ESP32/STM32/Arduino) implementing communication protocols (I2C, SPI, UART, WiFi, Bluetooth) and real-time operations.
- System Integration: Interface various sensors (IMU, GPS, temperature, audio modules) and actuators with microcontrollers. Implement wireless connectivity and IoT capabilities.
- Power Management: Design and optimize power systems for battery-operated devices, implement sleep modes, and ensure 8+ hours of operational battery life.
- Testing and Debugging: Use oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and multimeters to debug hardware issues. Conduct thorough testing of firmware functionality and edge cases.
- Collaboration and Documentation: Work with software team for API integrations, maintain detailed technical documentation, BOMs, and circuit schematics. Manage version control using Git.
