Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Hardware Design & Development:

  • Assist in Hardware Design: Collaborate in the design and development of hardware solutions, ensuring they meet required specifications and performance standards.
  • Schematic Capture & PCB Layout: Support schematic capture and layout tasks, utilizing design tools for creating circuit designs and board layouts.

Testing & Validation:

  • Testing: Perform hardware testing and validation to ensure that all designs meet performance, reliability, and quality standards.
  • Issue Identification: Identify and resolve issues that arise during the testing phase, ensuring that the product functions as intended.

Collaboration & Support:

  • Collaboration with Senior Engineers: Work closely with senior engineers to contribute to the design process, offering innovative solutions and improvements.
  • Technical Support: Provide technical support to the hardware engineering team, assisting with troubleshooting, problem resolution, and providing guidance on hardware design.

Industry Awareness & Technology Adoption:

  • Stay Updated: Continuously update knowledge about the latest industry trends, technologies, and design methodologies to improve hardware development processes.
  • Innovation: Suggest and integrate new design ideas and technologies to enhance product functionality and performance.

Qualifications:

Must Have:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics (STEM) from an accredited institution.
  • Experience in hardware design and development, including understanding of hardware design principles and methodologies.

We Value:

  • Advanced Degree (Master's/Ph.D.) in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • Experience with schematic capture and PCB layout tools, and familiarity with related software (e.g., Altium Designer, Eagle).
  • Experience in hardware testing and validation, ensuring compliance with performance and quality standards.
  • Strong Problem-Solving and Analytical Skills, with a focus on designing reliable and efficient hardware systems.

Key Skills & Competencies:

  • Hardware Design Principles: Understanding of electronics design, circuit theory, and hardware architecture.
  • Testing and Validation: Hands-on experience in testing and validating hardware systems, including knowledge of lab equipment and tools for verification.
  • Schematic Capture & PCB Layout Tools: Familiarity with industry-standard software for designing and laying out PCBs.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong ability to troubleshoot, debug, and solve complex hardware-related issues.
  • Collaboration: Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and senior engineers.
  • Industry Knowledge: A keen interest in staying current with evolving trends in hardware design and technology.
