Job Description

Aitech is seeking a Hardware Engineer - Team Lead to spearhead our hardware development projects. The ideal candidate will possess a robust background in hardware design, development, and testing, along with proven leadership experience. This role is crucial for driving innovation and ensuring project success while mentoring junior engineers and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver cutting-edge solutions.

Responsibilities:

Developing a board from specification,

  • High Speed layout
  • Good understanding of Intel & Embedded Processors.
  • Experience with schematic tools (Orcad) and high-speed PCB layout techniques
  • FPGA programming skills, VHDL, Personal computer skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power-point, Outlook)
  • High level of technical English reading and writing is a must.
  • Good understanding of signal & power integrity
  • Ability to work independently and integrative as a team member
  • Ability to work structured and according to procedures
  • Enthusiastic approach and desire to learn
  • Advantage: Experience with military electronics
  • Advantage: experience with VPX, VME, cPCI, PMC, XMC boards
  • Advantage: Proficiency with Orcad / Allegro Lead and manage a team of hardware engineers in the design and development of advanced hardware systems.
  • Oversee the entire hardware development lifecycle, from concept to production, ensuring adherence to project timelines and budgets.
  • Conduct design reviews and provide technical guidance to team members, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations throughout the hardware development process.
  • Develop and maintain project documentation, including specifications, design reports, and test plans.
  • Identify and mitigate risks associated with hardware design and development.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electronics & Communication.
  • 10 years + experience in RT/Embedded systems development (Intelor PowerPC)/peripheral interfaces such as PCIe, USB 3.0, 1G /10G Ethernet,DDR2/DDR3 Etc
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with various stakeholders.
